The Plague Medic - Main Characters

You are Simone Cappello, a novice doctor trying to make your way in the world of medicine. You are heading to Venice, your hometown, to practice as a plague doctor, caring for the sick and trying to stop the spread of the disease. You have heard rumours that Giulio Perotti, a prestigious plague doctor who has successfully treated the disease in several Italian cities, has been in town for some time but has not been heard from since.
Your arrival in the city is much more complicated than you imagined. Venice is under a strict quarantine due to the high mortality that the plague has on its inhabitants. On your way to meet Giulio, you realize the pitiful state of the city, a thick miasma envelops the streets and you notice the strange behaviour of some Venetians. They do not behave like normal people, they have been consumed by the disease and now wander the streets aimlessly.
Something else is hiding behind the plague. You will have to investigate what has happened in the city and try to save those who still have some reason left while you unveil the horrors suffered by its inhabitants.
